Press Release:
Wests Tigers have come up with a fantastic offer for supporters attending the City versus Country match at WIN Stadium on Friday, May 2.
Supporters who show their City v Country ticket at the entry gates of ANZ Stadium on Saturday, May 3, will be provided with free entry to the Wests Tigers v Brisbane Broncos match.
“Plenty of people from the country attend the annual match against City, so we have decided to give them the added bonus of watching Wests Tigers play free of charge,’’ said Wests Tigers Membership Services Co-ordinator Justin Shumack.
“Brisbane will have their Test players in Darren Lockyer and Justin Hodges playing while we are hoping our City players Brett Hodgson and Bryce Gibbs, as well as our Country representative, Chris Heighington, will be able to back up for the clash.
“And then there is the possible Test match halves battle between Lockyer and Wests Tigers whiz Benji Marshall. Two great players going head to head.
“Brisbane have been in fine form while Wests Tigers will be looking to make it three wins in a row. It should be a great night of rugby league.’’
Kick-off for the Wests Tigers v Brisbane game at ANZ Stadium is 8.30pm.
