NFL Finals: Cardinals in record win
NFL: Cardinals take out highest scoring game in playoff hiistory
The Arizona Cardinals grabbed a dramatic victory over the Green Bay Packers in overtime to move within two games of back-to-back NFL Superbowl appearances.
Having started fast, the Cardinals then had hang on grimly in the face of a valiant Green Bay rally before eventually winning 51-45 in overtime in what turned out to be the highest-scoring playoff game in league history.
The Cardinals, who lost 27-23 to the Pittsburgh Steelers in last years Superbowl, now play the NFC's top seed, the New Orleans Saints on Saturday. The Saints finished the regular season [13-3] with the best record in the NFC.
In other games... the Ravens stunned the Patriots and the Jets and Cowboys advanced in Saturday's wildcard games
The reward for Baltimore is playing the AFC's top seed the Colts later Saturday in Indianapolis. The Ravens' win sends the Jets to San Diego. The Cowboys-Vikings matchup in Minnesota is set after Dallas beat the Eagles comfortably on Saturday night. It was the Cowboys first playoff win since since 1996...
